Today we are excited to announce that, starting with the 2025-2026 school year, we will be launching a new and improved PHA Member Portal!
This new member portal fixes several common problems with the old system, as well as adds a number of often-requested features.
Quick Summary of Improvements:
- Support for Mobile Devices (Tablets/Smartphones) – We’ve developed the new system with both desktop computers and mobile devices (i.e. tablets/smartphones) in mind. You will be able to enter in your application information on whatever device you have available.
- Simplified Layout – In the old system, it could sometimes be difficult to find things, be it your membership cards/certificate or where to submit things like the Mid-Year or Year-End checklists. In the new system, it will be easier to find what you need.
- Support for Direct Credit/Debit Card Payments – In the old system, you would have to pay for your application either by mail or via PayPal. In the new system, you will still be able to pay by mail or PayPal, but you will also have the option to enter your credit card information directly (similar to many other websites that accept payment). Later this year, we also plan to add support for Apple and Google Pay.
- Simplified Application Updates – In the past, you would need to make sure you checked the “notify the PHA office” option every time you made a change to a student or course. The new system will send notification of all application changes automatically to the PHA office.
- Simplified Final Grades Submissions – For those with high school students, we’ve reworked the final grades submission process, allowing you to enter final grades for each course as it is completed, as well as allowing complete final grades reports to be submitted separately for each student.
Moving to the New System (Starting May 1st, 2025)
- For Returning Members: You will finalize your 2024-2025 application in the old PHA Member Portal, filling out your final grade reports (for high school students only) and your year-end completion statement. Once you have closed out your 2024-2025 academic year application, you will be prompted to migrate all your application data to the new system before filling out your 2025-2026 application. All of your historical application data & invoices will be moved to the new system automatically.
- For New PHA Members: New PHA Members will simply register on the new site instead of the old one.
